Background
Before joining Lipper in March 2001, Aureliano worked as a senior economist at the Central Bank of Italy for more than nine years, conducting fundamental and statistical analyses of international financial flows and their impact on balance of payments statistics. He has served on numerous international ISO committees of experts on financial instruments and chaired the sub-group 3 of the European Monetary Institute "Portfolio Investment Flows Harmonisation. " Aureliano holds a MSC in finance from the City University Business School (London), a degree in economics from Universita La Sapienza in Rome and is a registered auditor.

Background
Prior to joining Lipper in 1995, Otto studied history and law at the University of Zurich. He holds a BBA degree of the Graduate School of Business Administration of Zurich. In Switzerland, Otto is responsible for the publication of the Swiss Funds Guide, a standard yearly reference book on the Swiss funds market. He is a Level I candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst program.

Background
Detlef joined Lipper in mid 2005 from Feri Wealth Management, where he was Director of Portfolio Management, managing segregated accounts for high net worth individuals (HNWI). Prior to this he spent nine years with tecis Holding AG, most recently as Head of Fund Research for tecis Asset Management AG. In this role he was responsible for the quantitative and qualitative fund research for the tecis fund of funds, the HNWI accounts and the recommendation list of funds for the financial adviser arm of tecis. Detlef has an MBA focusing on Financial Services from the University of Wales/Cardiff, as well as a BA in Business Administration.

Dunny joined Lipper in 2001 as France's head of operations and data. From 1997-2001, he worked at CDC Ixis Capital Market, where he successively assumed responsibilities in the Forex and the Euro commercial paper departments before leading the margin call department. Dunny holds an MA in economics and international regulations from the University of Paris XIII and the Carroll Graduate School of Management at Boston College.

Background
Xav joined Lipper in 2006 from HSBC Investments in Taiwan, where he was actively involved in various aspects of integrated investment research and marketing. He also distributed group and product information for corporate and institutional communications and promoted fund launchings and services. He had previously been a financial journalist with key business and financial publications in Taipei. Xav is a law graduate from the National Taipei University and has a Master's degree in Risk Management and Insurance from National Chengchi University. He also holds securities and futures specialist licenses in Taiwan.

Background
Before joining Lipper in 2000, Juan worked in the retail and investment banking sectors in Spain with Banco Popular and Banco Inversion, before moving to Thomson Financial in Dublin, where he was head of the global equity fundamental content team. Juan has a 1st Class Honours degree in Economics from Deusto University and holds the Level 1 Chartered Financial Analyst Certificate in Investment Management. He is a candidate for Level II.

Background
Ed joined Lipper when Fitzrovia International became part of Reuters in 2004. Since 1999, he has been invited to participate in committee meetings of the European Commission, OECD and IOSCO, as well as supporting Working Groups on fee metrics for both ALFI and INREV. Among other reports, he has produced a comparison of fund expenses between the US and Europe, with Lucas Garland. Ed and the European Fiduciary team manage a range of products primarily relating to funds fees and expenses, as well combining performance, risk and fee data in customised analyses to support those reporting to European funds boards of directors.

Background
Prior to joining Lipper in July 2007, Richard was an independent Quantitative Research and Strategy Consultant for Clarksons Shipping Hedge Fund, IFX Markets and Go4Venture. While writing a widely cited PhD thesis in Behavioural, Fundamental and Technical Trading Systems at Cass Business School, he worked with exotic derivatives at Bear Stearns Risk Department and lectured MBA and MSc postgraduates in financial markets. Richard also has Bachelor of Laws and MSc in Business and Management degrees, and served as a Director of the Society of Technical Analysts. He started his career in high-level corporate electronic-banking support at RBS and HBoS.
